Here’s how to withdraw from a PlaPlu purchase, cancel a subscription or request a refund. The binding rules are in section 12 of our Terms of Use. Read the Terms of Use

How purchases work in PlaPlu

You buy the book and the audiobook once; the AI chat Claudi is a monthly or yearly subscription. Payment runs through Apple’s App Store, or Google Play on Android. Apple or Google collects the money and pays out refunds. Your contractual partner remains PlaPlu UG, and we stand behind your right of withdrawal.

Withdrawing from a purchase

As a rule, you can withdraw from a purchase within 14 days without giving a reason. When this ends earlier for the book and the audiobook is explained below. There are two ways to withdraw:

  • With Apple: open the purchase history in your Apple Account, select the PlaPlu purchase and withdraw the transaction there.
  • With us: email legal@plaplu.com with the subject “Withdrawal”. Tell us which purchase you’re withdrawing from and when you made it. The order ID from the Apple or Google receipt helps us find it.

To meet the deadline, it’s enough to send your notice before the 14 days are up.

For the book and the audiobook, the right of withdrawal can end earlier: if you agreed at purchase that the content is provided right away and confirmed that you lose your right of withdrawal by doing so.

Cancelling a subscription

The AI chat subscription renews automatically. Cancel it at least 24 hours before the current period ends and it stops at the end of that period. Until then you can keep using Claudi.

  • iPhone and iPad: Settings › your name › Subscriptions › PlaPlu
  • Android: Google Play › profile icon › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions › PlaPlu

Refunds after the 14 days

After the 14 days you can still ask Apple for a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com, for example if you bought something by accident. Apple makes that decision.

On Google Play you can request a refund from Google directly within 48 hours of the purchase. After that, Google refers you to us as the provider: write to us and we’ll look at your case.

What happens after a refund

When Apple or Google refunds a purchase, your access to the refunded content ends and the app shows you a short note about it. You can buy the content again at any time.
